Tom Kishchuk

Tom began his career in heavy industrial manufacturing for power generation equipment in 1989 at Hitachi Canadian Industries Ltd. Over 26 years, he held various roles and was appointed the first Canadian President and CEO in 2006. He contributed to a wide range of projects involving fossil, nuclear, and renewable power generation.

In 2015, Tom became Vice-President Operational Support for Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL), overseeing Health and Safety, Logistics, Facilities Design and Development, and Growth and Business Development teams. In 2020, he launched TPK Management Consulting Inc. to support organizational growth and improvement.

Tom has conducted business in many countries, mainly in Asia, Europe, and North America. He has extensive board experience in corporate, co-operative, and non-profit sectors. Currently, he is Chair of the Sylvia Fedoruk Canadian Centre for Nuclear Innovation and the University of Saskatchewan College of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Board. His recent board roles included the Saskatchewan Health Quality Council, Safe Saskatchewan, and the Saskatoon Community Foundation.
Tom holds a BSc. and MSc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and completed the Ivey Executive Program at the Richard Ivey School of Business.
