Tony Sernick grew up in Bienfait and moved to Estevan in 1988. After high school , Tony began a career in the oil fields of SE Saskatchewan.  Bounced around the oilfield until 1999 and secured a store manager position with Kudu Industries.  Tony was part of a team that grew Kudu Industries into a multi-million-dollar international company which eventually sold to Schlumberger. He has been in a business development role since 2018 with MANTL Artificial Lift.

Tony served four years as a dedicated city councillor before becoming Estevan’s Mayor in 2024.

Outside of his professional career, Tony is passionate about family, sports, and volunteering.
